Hey guys, I recently purchased a driftmotion 3" stainless downpipe and 3" stainless exhaust as well, and after I installed it I noticed that the flex pipe portion of the downpipe is sitting right up against the bellhousing of my trans. Just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue and has any suggestions to resolve it? Thanks

The stock downpipe would hit as well but it has a mount welded on to keep it from hitting. You could weld a tab on to keep the downpipe a set distance from the bellhousing.

Ok thanks. Also this may sound dumb but can anyone tell me if I have the mid pipe in backwards? The car had aftermarket exhaust on it when I bought it so I had no idea which way it should go. The way it's pictured in the second pic above is the way it is currently mounted. Everything seems to fit ok I just thought that if it wasn't installed right, maybe that was why the downpipe was hitting the bellhousing.
