door trim needs to be... moved

At some point something fell on my car. Really, really hard. My targa was dented and it knocked the trim down about six inches. It didn't damage it at all, I just can't move it back up. I've stood on my door frame pulling with pliers, I can't get it to budge. I could try bending out where it holds on to the car, i'm just afraid it will break. Any suggestions on how to get the trim back up where its supposed to be?

take off the fender and tap it up from the bottom if you dont want to take it off.

It's a hardtop in that manual but its definitely helpful, thanks poodles

Same technique to pull em, the right tool will amke it very easy if you can find it.

I realize this isn't going to be much help but normally it pops right off. I used to take mine off every year to clean out the drain path. Sounds like your clips are jammed from being forced downwards.
