Hello all,
Has anyone replaced the door-light switch? Mine stick allot and does not always light up.
I know it's covered by a rubber boot and held in place with a bolt and once you remove it the switch is connected to a wire that runs into the body...but there is a little clip on that switch. I tried moving that clip in all directions but I can't seem to get it come out!? I don't want to cut the original wire and tape the replacement together.
Also, as winter is upon us, I would like to take a page from the Germans and enclose my battery into a box like my girl's VW to have my battery not be totally exposed to the cold. Has anyone done anything like this before?
