Shox.com came through and drop shipped my Koni's for free and I got them today.

Unfortunately Summit's pushlok fittings did not come through:

For some reason one of the hoses on my oil cooler popped off and started spewing oil at lunch today, hopefully I noticed soon enough but I'm fearing the worst... F'n Supras

Looks like I might be ok, had to add like 3qts but after some cranking with the coils unplugged pressure came up and there was no apparent knocking when I fired it up. Only thing I can think is that something got clogged in the oil cooler that caused a huge pressure spike (hose/fittings are rated to 250psi) and blew the hose off or it was just a crapy section of hose. I'm going to crank it over without the thermopellet in the cooler to see if the pressure goes crazy...

Guessing everyone is crankin away on their Supras for 2k10 :) She's all back together and so far so good. Still not sure what happened with the hose but I went ahead and made a completely new one and strapped it down in a few more places. Still makes me nervous, been drivin with the headlights up (the remote filter mount is under the D/S HL) so I can see the oil geyser just in case. Debating on just dropping some more $$ in the future and going with stainless -an crap for some piece of mind...

Also noticed I had an exhaust leak, trip to Boost Logic Friday night for some new T4 gaskets and a few hours and quite a bit of back pain later and that was all fixed too. Spent Saturday morning installing my Koni Yellows after Jon was nice enough to give me his stock spring perches (thanks again) and then burned 1/2 a tank of E85 testing everything out. Very happy with the Konis, one of the best upgrades I've done!

Also got my Hoosier R6s mounted last night on my spare wheels so I'm all set for road racing. Now I just gotta figure out how to get all 4 in the back of the car with all my other crap...

Screw 2K10, mine will be ready for 3K10 :)

Hooray for not spewing oil. I <3 stainless AN crap... but my wallet disagrees.

I hear ya on the AN, that pushlock almost cost me a $250 motor lol...

If you use the stainless stuff you can go around bragging at 2K11 how your hoses cost more than your motor. :bling:

After some trouble on the way, Tx2k10 turned out awesome! I lost yet another oil cooler line (will be calling Summit Racing today) on the way down and had to limp to a walmart (luckily close by) with a zip tie on one of the lines with no oil showing on the dipstick. Bought a prestone flush kit (only way to get clamps there) and 10qts of they're cheapest 5w30 and was back on the road after an hour or so. Clamps held all weekend, push lock's FTL.

Road racing went awesome, had a blast! Instructor released me after the first session and by the 3rd I was lapping people (MKIV, Lotus, and a C6 Vette) and ended up even passing the MVP GTR with a rookie driver behind the wheel :) I chewed through one of my race takeoff Hoosier's and a set of Porterfield front pads but had spares. Someone put a camera on my car for the last session so I should have some video soon that I'll post up!

Was going to do 60-130 but Saturday got rained out so we decided to stick around for drags on Sunday. I didn't have my ET Streets with me but figured I'd give it my best shot on the 'ol road race tires. There were only 2 cars in the MKI-III open class so us small turbo guys (61mm and under) got lumped in with the 61+mm turbo cars. Ryan and I were pretty pissed but it ended up working out and we placed 1 (him) and 2 (me). His best was a 12.2@114mph and mine was a 13.2@120mph with a 2.5s 60' LOL. Thought we were going to get Ryan in the 11s but unfortunately he ended up with yet another knocking 7M at the end of the day :( Brandon also broke into the 13s on a 100% stock 7M with an open DP and shimmed WG and too 1st in the MKIII stock class after beating Zach in his stock twin 1jz car in the finals. Congrats guys!

Thanks! Ryan offered to let me run on his tires but I decided I didn't want to risk killing my diff at the end of the day. The track in San Antonio is within my AAA towing distance though :)

whoa weird...the CEL that indicates something cool is happening didn't come on? I.E. knock sensors.

I'm still assembling parts on my supra...I'm so close to 1uz I can smell it.....

Hah, it actually did but then I realized I spilled oil on the front sensor topping it off :) Haven't had any code 52s since I replaced my oil cap about 8mo ago...

Lookin forward to seeing the 1UZ!

Yup, love that clutch, feels like stock and has been holding up well even though I'm slightly over the tq holding capacity. Probably done 20-30 5k launches on ET streets with no issues whatsoever...

Whoa what? Oil cap? And this entire time of killing poor USB cables, and swapping knock sensors...the issue was an oil cap??

Yeah got the mounts, flywheel, w58 (know anyone with the diff end of the drive shaft?), and a few other things, just need the hydro-throw out bearing, clutch, adapter plate, and figuring out the wiring. I can just smell it, not taste it :(

Don't think it was the issue the whole time, finally narrowed down an intermittently bad sensor, but I did notice after the most recent rewire that there was some oil running down the side of the block onto the connector. Replaced the cap and haven't had an issue since...

Sounds like you're getting close, should be a pretty sweet setup
