Im going to fabricate a ffim intake manifold for my supra
i bought a stock intake manifold and cut the runner already and made a tb plate for the stock tb to bolt on to, i have the plentum set up as a 3" tube

i am wondering if i need the iscv setup or can i just get away with using a threaded screw that i can adjust to pull on the throttle slightly

similar to what a motorcycle and such would have

also do i need the second cable for throttle.
the one that sits under the throttle that runs to the gas pedal

just wondering what it is and if i can get away with using it, just seems to move along with the cable that runs to the gas pedal

Thanks,
Patrick.

I would. For the small amount of work it takes to add a flange for it (especially since you're doing it yourself), you'll gain a lot of idle stability and nice things such as idle up for cold start, A/C, etc. If you have a standalone EMS you would be able to get away with it easier.

i think i may keep it, the cold start would make a big deal and ac
i dont know if im keeping ac but its all intact and working so i may just leave it as is.

Thanks though, i know it works off the coolant temp to raise and drop idle
