So, rebuilding my engine bay

But, Was is das?
I know there´s a black one too but its for the Cruise Control (it´s bolted in the mount)

Also removed both Cruise control (with cruise computer) and the heater valve with all the vacuum lines etc, are they even needed? (it´s been unplugged earlier this year cos the heater valve was broken)

i´ll probably post some more "what is this" questions, both harnesses are covered with "snake skin" and brake lines too.

Remember now that it´s not even close to be finished yet, there´s much more to paint and to mount, like new oil cap etc.
Also ordered 6x 2JZ FFIM´s (I need 2 and my friend 1) and weld them to fit the 7MGTE.
Also gonna change all hoses etc to AN.

Also the last picture shows my 2 Supras (Red and the one under the cover) and my friends mk3, just towed it here to my garage

One question, does it matter how u mount the Injector cables, can I keep the connections downwards?

On a stock car, I don't think there is enough room to put them below because of the intake manifold. Might be able to assemble the engine around the harness, but if you have to mess with it it means removing the manifold.

Thing in the second picture is a vacuum switch or something, sends the signal to those two little leds on your tachometer (Eco or not so much - or you can see when there's a vacuum leak). I at least think it is. Is located on the drivers side firewall.
I'd install it, or else, without other mods, the led in front of you will glow orange.

Looks to me like a hood pin switch. The type that is pushed down when hood is closed for alarms and such.

Been close to -20-25*C for past 3-4weeks now..

If I could I would move to a warmer country..

It has that cable in one end and vacuum fitting in the other

Got it from a local electronics store

Used about 55m /180feet of it in different sizes from 6mm up to 55mm.

Got bored tonight so I tore down the turbo again and painted the exhaust manifold, I´ve tried to find som nice manifold that fits with the turbo but only found manifolds with T4 flange so far.

Turbo is Lipp Boss SR Stage 5 (650hp) so it has to be the original Supra flange.

Already got that ebay manifold to my other supra, i´m gonna feed it with Holset hx50

Also painted the headlights assembly and covers. Dropped of hood and the upper headlight covers to be airbrushed..

(Thick newly added paint but it gets thinner when its dried)

I came to a realization today......here I am all "excited" about it getting to -2c tomorow, thats really sad....because it's still minus 2 celcius.......but my brain is viewing it as tropical since it's been like -28c here for a week.....not factoring in the windchill.

"Woohooo grab your swim trunks kids! Ya, that's right it's gonna be -2c tomorow! It's a party!!!!!!"

I'm convinced it's your speedsignal for the cruise system.
