i just got a new pwr radiator and i've had b&g stop leak in the old one for about 3 months, i want to flush the system before i put the new radiator in but wasn't sure the best way. 1. remove thermostat and run hose through thermostat and let it runout the lower hose or should it be done from the bottom to the top? that might sound dumb but i heard somewhere to run it from bottom to top... any help is greatly appreciated...

thanx,
ross

it wouldn't hurt to get some chemical flush in there, and run it for a while. Then pull your radiator out, and flush reverse direction of cooling system flow for a while with the water hose. When you get done with that, rinse it out in the normal coolant flow direction for a little while, then you are done.

Note: When doing the chemical flush, it usually helps to turn the heater on.
