Im looking for some approximate or exact dimensions for the following components, if you know even one of the following any help would be appreciated, thanks! Please state if they are approximations or "exact" (i don't need you to pull out a micrometer but if its a smaller component, obviously be more accurate then the overall length of the driveshaft):
Driveshaft:
*overall length
*diameter of hollow sections
*thickness of hollow sections
*length of 1st and 2nd sections (those separated at the bearing)
*inner and outer diameter of the bearing (important, please be as accurate as possible, ie, don't guess)
*weight
Axle (front,rear):
*shaft diameter
*overall length
*weight
Transmission:
*overall length
I may add more down the road. For those who must know its for a group project. We're designing an AWD driveline system with viscous coupling components and some of these specs will help us getting started with analysis and such. These dimensions do not "do our work for us" so no comments like that will be tolerated in this thread, thank you. :icon_bigg
