Different type of HKS boost controller

Hi guys, i have 2 different HKS boost controllers and on the back of each of them has a label that says: " EVC Poppet valve type" and the other one says " EVC Swing Valve type". My question is what is the difference between the two type of boost controller. I dont know what is the differences between the two.

There is a switch you change for what type your running

Swing valve = stock
Poppet valve = External
