asking if there were a light on the ecu seems to be a reasonable question than asking if there were a screw on it....

I did like a triple-take (well, more like tiple-scroll) at your post, trying to figure out what you could possibly referring to.
Whatever, it doesn't matter, here's how to check the codes on our (there was no standard, but they fixed that in '96) OBD system:
"SST" means "paperclip" lol. Not kidding though. Link to page in TSRM (the pages following will tell you what each code means): http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=FI&P=23
And search next time, you're not the first person in over 20 years to wonder how to do this.

Some ecus have a resetting screw that will make the CEL light blink on the dash and tell you what code you are throwing.
