So my front x-member on my dd got bent, don't ask me how. Me and my Dad replaced it ourselves.

Problem one: Ever since we did that my horn and cruise control dont work..(both on steering wheel) I think that may have to do with the steering wheel flopping around when it was disconnected from the steering gear.

Yesterday i unpluged my - battery cable to check some fuses, I checked them all and none are bad, i also felt around under my dash to see if i could find any loose wires, nope none.

Problem two: Last night I got into my car to go to work and my stereo wont work, the head unit just won't come on.
Today i checked all fuses again and none were bad. I took apart everything on the drivers side of the car to find loose wires and couldnt find any. I also pulled my head-unit to see if I unpluged it when i was feeling around for loose cables.

I can't find whats wrong! If someone has any ideas on what is wrong, please enlighten me.

Cliffs: Replaced front x-member, steering wheel accessories stoped working. Tried to fix them and stereo stoped working.

Thanks.

If you had the steering wheel off, and now the horn doesn't work, then take it apart and have somebody that knows how to install it help you.

Factory radio?

Factory radio?

Steering wheel was on, i didn't unplug any wires. I just disconnected the rod from the steering gear to drop my rack and pinion.

Radio is not factory. Its a sony cdx-700x. Its been installed with no problems for ... well close to exactly a year. I just realized though, i didnt check the plugs from factory harness to adapter harness, i just checked to see if the head unit harness was pluged into the head unit. I'll check that during lunch or after school tomorow. thanks!
