Dash install

Hey you guys and gals

How do you drop the steering wheel?? I'd like to get the dash out, I'ts loose, I just cant get the dash without hassling with the steering colum It will scuff the steering if I try to wresle it out, I shouldn't have to force it out, or I'm I missing a step.

theres 2 17mm nuts under the column that hold it up.... pretty easy to get to.

there are two 17mm bolts you need to take off. they are under the steering column. i will post a picture in a few minutes. need to find it.

EDIT:not bolts, nuts. sorry, i can't find the picture. if need be, i will go take another picture.

No don't go outa your way There's not no many 17 mill nuts under there I'm sure I''l get it!!!

two bolts, 30 seconds later, it's out!!! Now its clean up time and beer time
I thought it was those two, they are the only ones that make sense, but apparently it didn't make sense at the time, I guess It was because they seem some what far from the steering coluum. What a free dash pad??
