I've been working out trying to get in shape to pass the PST so I can qualify for Navy search and rescue. I finally got a stop watch to time myself and the results are actually better than I expected:

1.2 miles in 10 minutes 13 seconds.

But thats pretty sad since I ran consecutive 7's in high school. I guess thats what 4 years of sitting around on supramania will do to you.

At least I don't have to worry since Ive got a few months to get in shape before my PST. I'll have to run 1.5 miles in 13 minutes, and eventually get down to 1.5 miles in 9 minutes.

Sorry for the boring thread, I just needed something to do while I wait for my clothes to dry.

The time the runs for you to make the times so long as you get i rhythym you will be fine.

The pst is nothing to what it's gopoing to be in boot camp. I was marine corp.
It went from 1.5 in 13 to 3 miles in 18. Good Luck.

Yes, I'm jealous. Damn asthma, and I always get cramps in my toes if I run for a while (over 3 seconds)

Oh, and I managed to get my 400m down to 74 seconds towards the end of jr. high, thats the last time I've ran any timed distance.
