Well, just got done changing the oil and replaced the filter on my Soop.
Now I have a drip from the drain plug...drip drip drip...
It's like once every 5 seconds...
Does anyone know of a way to fix this? The drain plug seal is new,and i'm worried that the previous monkeys that changed the oil might have over tourqued it and possibly cracked something around the threads,or the plug is cracked.Or maybe the plug itself needs replacing.(plumbers tape?)
I think the only way to repair it is to remove the pan an either repair or replace.
OR weld/braze on a new bung with a new plug.
Any ideas?

how about an over-sized oil pan bolt?

I had to this on my dd after a shop overtightened the crap out of it, it worked well for me.
