Cyl. #5 missing

So far I've checked the coils, wires, plugs, compression, and injector clip with a noid light. Can't find any issues. So I replaced the fuel Injector. Still doesn't fire on #5. I was looking for info to check the wiring to/from that specific injector, but the tsrm didn't detail that in the fuel system troubleshooting section. This is a batch fire setup, so I don't understand why another Cyl. Wouldn't be missing.

Have you taken the spark plug out, try to crank it over and see if it sparks while you ground it against the cylinder head?

Yes but I did again and am getting no spark. #6 wire appears to have a short too, but it still fires

Sounds like it's time for new wires. In the meantime, take a known working wire and plug, and connect them to the Cylinder 5 coil. If there's no spark, you may have a dead coil.
