Custom Exhaust?!?!?!

Ok i run a 1JZ with Ebay 3" Ypipe and down pipe combo(love it)... But the rest of my set up i still from my N/A... 2.5" with two mufflers and a high flow cat!!!

Well i was at "Tognotti's" and noticed they sell 3" exhaust pipe about 5 feet long for about 30 bucks... I was thinkin; could i weld a flange to bolt up to my Down pipe and eliminate the cat then run a Flowmaster or some kind of mid muffler and a resignator then have straight tail pipe out my back end???
My buddy has a uncle with a machine shop and can bend and weld for me... (I hope he can bent 3":aigo

you can do whatever you want, but you may not get the desired results. many people here have made custom exhausts... search and ye shall find.

I've done it several times on mkIII's its very easy. 3in is a little tough to bend ask him first. But other than that sure. The last one I did was stright from the cat...with one 15 degree ben just before the rear end and it exited just like your drawing.
