I've recently replaced my stock ct26 with a 57trim ct26 I bought from a member on here. I didn't get the exhaust housing as his was cracked so I just swapped my good housing over to the new turbo. Well in the process of taking my turbo apart I failed to pay attention when I was removing the wastegate actuator. My question is, is there supposed to be some kind of c-clip or something that goes where the actuator rod connects to the wastegate flapper? The only reason I'm asking is because sometimes whenever I get on my car hard and the turbo spools up and then I let off the wastegate actuator rod pops off. So I have to take the accordian tube off and loosen the dipstick and the actuator itself in order to pop it back on. You can see how this becomes a PIA. If anyone has the answer to this it would be greatly appreciated. Also if there is a clip does anyone might know where I would be able to find one?
