cruise control

My 89 turbo was converted to a manual at one point and i was wondering how to get the cruise control to work.

There is an actuator that connect via cable to the TB linkage. I've got a spare unit I may not use and I'm sure other members have them. There are also aftermarket universal units that work also.

You offer little to go on but I'm going to guess an incorrectly done bypass of the neutral safety switch...

Does that have anything to do with me not having to push in the clutch to start the car?

I also noticed that the "o/d off" light flashes constantly while i'm driving.

Speed sensor issue, without it no CC.

where is the harness for the neutral safety switch located? and if possible which two wires are they? Is it possible to wire them into the clutch pedal switch?

I noticed these were shorted. The dark green one running to the tranny I wired for the reverse lamps.
