idle control valve hose, right underneath the hose, i bought a new hose, still leaks from hose, now im thinking its the idle control valve needs replacement.

If its leaking at the hose I'm guessing hose. Is the hose the the OEM type or you matched up the hose size at your local autoparts store? I had a similar issue and ended up buying some hose that was a tad smaller than what i took off. Was snug trying to put it on but no leaks after tightening the clap. Also if you're using the spring clamp rry using a screw type clamp.
