coolant in exhaust manifold

I have a 1987 7MGTE that needed a new exhaust manifold gasket. When I pulled the turbo from the manifold there
was about a quarter teaspoon of coolant laying in the bottom of the manifold. Where could have this come from?
What problem am I looking at? Thanks!

Have you checked the oil? You might have got some coolant in there when you pulled the turbo off?

Was it pretty clean looking in a pool, or all over the place

It was clean in a small pool. Thinking back, it could simply be some that splashed out of the coolant tubes
when I "yanked" the turbo. Working now on four of the tapped holes in the head that are stripped or galled.
Planning on drilling and tapping for an M12 or 1/2-13 stud. Studs coming from McMaster-Carr.

Order the helicoil kit from Driftmotion. Its a common problem with the 7M, and that kit does a great job fixing it.
