Ok, so grades at my school just came out today... AND I PASSED ALL MY CLASSES WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! This was my last really hard semester and there was only one class I was concerned about... but I passed and I don't have to worry about it ever again.

Next semester I take the last of my engineering classes and start my senior design and in the fall next year I have the last half of my senior design class, the last computer science class I EVER have to take (all I need is a D- in that bad boy :naughty: ) and one elective and then I'm DONE with the college gig! :biglaugh:

How'd everyone do?

Grades out already, wow. I still got one exam left tomorrow. Not really concerned tho. I only got one semester and a summer class to finish up as well. Good luck next semester.

I got a B in one of my classes and the other one is on delayed report. teacher is probably still grading all the late and final essays:icon_mad:

yes, I only took 2 classes(well 3, but dropped one). I'm taking it slow and easy to recover from past semester mistakes. My overall GPA is in the proverbial shitter currently but working its way back up nicely. I'm not in an hurry to get out of school and I'm getting real job experience doing civil engineering everyday I'm not at school.

^nice! go you!(no sarcasm)

I tried to take calc 2, circuits, and physics 2 at the same time 2 semesters ago. It got really ugly... With work, I don't have enough time in the week to dedicate the amount of studying and lab time I needed to be successful in all of those classes at once and get the sleep I need to pay attention in class. I'm splitting them up now. For example, I'm taking calc 2 during summer by itself. that's it. 100% focus on just that.

I take it you're EE or CpE?

Yeah, I tried that combination too, I ended up having to retake calc 2 the next semester. Definitely a LOT at one time, plus that was my busy semester with ROTC getting ready for "bootcamp"

But good luck to you man.

ahhhh, yeah you through me with "circuits" ... Here only EE's and CpE's take courses called circuits and all other engineers take a watered down version called "Intro to EE"

^It'll be even funnier 10 years from now when you are working for them.

Lol - hardly think so - they're all doing arts degrees ;)

Besides, having a degree here meant precisely bugger all - my brother graduated from Derby University with a 2:1 honours degree and its taken him 10 years to get to the point where he's able to rent a flat on his own.

Every job i've applied for in the past - i've been OVERqualified.

That means, theres more work for plebs stacking shelves in Sainsburys for £9 an hour, than there is for someone with two law degrees ;)
