Cold start stalling, won't start back up

I have an n/a '89 supra. This problem just started about a week ago. I've pulled my 300zx out since then since I can't keep the Supra running when it's cold:(

A few months ago I noticed that if the engine was very cold, it would kind of stutter and hesitate when you tried to get on it a little too much (just going up a hill or accelerating quickly into traffic). It was mostly just a little choke, like an iced over carb or something.

A week ago, I started the car up and it felt like it had no power. I could barely get the car over 25 mph. I got it to the top of the hill and then it stumbled and quit. I backed it down the hill when it wouldn't start back up. I tried and tried, but it wouldn't fire up. I left it sit for awhile, came back, and it fired, leading to me to believe that it may have flooded. The engine still ran like crap and stalled again, but it fired up and was ok after that. When warm, it's fine. When fired up after 4 hours or so, it was fine. It stalled out and won't start again 3 or 4 times since then. It will crank and crank, but no go.

Any ideas? I pulled a couple plugs and they looked fine. I'm guessing it's one of the 1,000 stupid ECU/EFI sensors. The car was also fairly low on antifreeze due to a tiny hole in a coolant hose I haven't gotten around to fixing.

Definitely want to replace that hose, or at least put some water in there. Not a good motor to risk it on, definitely not the average Toyota

Just a shot in the dark here, but how's your battery? Our cars kind of act a little crazy when the voltage gets a little low sometimes.

Reads a full 13V or so driving down the road. No belt squeal. The thing cranks over just fine and starts right up, just runs like total crap when it is running.

I come from a musclecar background. A carb, 8 plugs, 12V to the dizzy and it will run. Not many things to go wrong. I figured out how to set the new TPS on my poopra, so I can learn :icon_bigg Just need a little guidance and a multimeter so I can dig into this further.

Do what I did, get a TSRM and start digging.

Okay, I've got codes now! I looked a little deeper today as well.

1) 24 - Temperature switch for the cold start injector, the clip part of the terminal was almost snapped off from the part that goes into the thermostat.

2) 12 - ECU interruption.... not sure what this one is all about

3) 51 - TPS. I changed the TPS about 6 months ago to a brand new one. I'm not sure if I ever set it quite right. I got the engine out of limp mode after installing, so it must be close I guess.

I pulled the ISC, cleaned it and reinstalled. Wouldn't even start. Pulled the plug for the ISC and wallah, runs! It will rev freely and go down the road, but won't idle (obviously) unless I have my foot on the gas a bit.

I have a new Cold start timer switch coming from a member. I guess I'll bench test the ISC tomorrow, but it looks like that's the problem! If anyone has a spare N/A ISC, let me know.....
