I tested my ignitor and the voltage was fine, ~12-13 volts. So I moved on to check the ohms on the coilpack. The car was hot and the TSRM said the ohms should be ~.3-.5 ohms cold. It read .003-.008 on all of the coils with a solid ground. Is this normal to be this low because the car was hot or are my coil packs fried. The car runs fine but it has trouble finding a clean idle. It only sputters a little on deceleration.

Does the meter that you used "auto range"? if not, are you sure that you didn't have the meter on "K-ohms"?

If the reads are really that low then that would mean that you have a short in the coil windings.

I set the meter to 2 which is the lowest it'll go before getting into the k-ohms. So I'm guessing that I'll need a new coilpack? I also checked to see if the packs themselves were grounded and there were no readings. It is kind of old. It's my dads old one from the early 90s from when he worked at Florida Power and Light.
