Ok i just randomly decided to check for codes and i fixed the ones that i have but code 51 just hasnt went anywhere.
NOw i my car is 5spd, 5spd harness but i have no egr so im using an automatic jdm ecu.
I took of the throttle body and adjusted it using a feeler gauge per tsrm.
I tried swapping out at 3 three of my friends throttle bodies that i know are in spec.
I re did the wiring for the idl signal wire to the ecu and ran it from the tps straight to the ecu ( thought it was a break in the harness some where).
And then it hit me, Code 51 is no idl or nsw signal to ecu.
Being that the ecu is an automatic and im using my regular 5spd harness, and there no nsw switch could that be the why im getting code 51?
Ive heard that you can not correctly set timing if your having a code 51?
