Well, I suppose you've either disconnected the TPS [strike]or A/C signal line OR you've created a break in one of those two at the ECU[/strike].

Shouldn't be too hard to track down.

EDIT: ^^ME^^ Asleep at the wheel... I'm out for the night. Thanks for clarifying JJ.

Being that it is SUMMER, be sure your A/C is turned off and the car is in Neutral or park. Then reset the codes, and see if it returns. Chances are that maybe your air was on when you started the car after the repair. The code reset is fast and easy. Save yourself the trouble of tearing through everything else first.

D'oh, I forgot about the A/C thing... Also make sure you don't move the throttle when you check for codes or you'll see 51 then too.

In the interest of accuracy a couple of comments:

1) A break in the AC signal won't cause a code 51. On the contrary, it proves the signal line is intact.

2) There can be no "resetting" of 51 because it never gets stored in diagnostic memory. It's a real time code that will disappear when whatever condition causing it is corrected.
