Four days ago my car started to miss under wot. It was like a cut out at different places in the revs I could power thou the miss but had no check light. every time it did this it just went away after driving 20mins. This morning 15mins in to my drive to work the check light comes on so I got code 25.

what are the things I should check first?

Check the IAT sensor screwed into the side of the intake manifold, and the wiring to it. It shares a common ground with a few other sensors (like the map), so one sensor going bad can mess up the others. Try unplugging it, if it's shorted the car may actually run better.

It was my oxygen sensor. replaced with a ford mustang o2 sensor. Bosch part #13942
This is a screw in type so you must have that type of bung. This is cheaper than the 2jz sensor by far.
To test your o2 the procedure is the same for both 7m and jz engines. you can find the test here

wire with old o2 connector the only wire that maters is the signal wire the other two are 12+ and 12- for heater.
