Code 22 issues:-(

So I've been recently getting this code randomly but it's getting worse! When this code trips the car runs like poo and if it stalls it's very hard to start again! Has anyone had this issue and what's the most comon cause? My temps are fine etc and I have a hard time thinking the sensor has failed but I really hope that's the problem so a simple replacement will fix it.

Guess theres 2 sensors, the one for your gauge cluster may be reading right but the one for the ECU is prolly on its way out. Just my guess.

Unplugged the sensor and it works fine now, other than the constant check engine light! Gonna test the wires etc to see if it's a bad sensor.
