ok heres some info,
I had a 1990 7mgte 5spd now a 1jz with auto harness and m/t ecu.
jdm 2j injectors,single turbo, 2.5 hard pipes.
now the problem,
my car is very difficult to start and when it does start it wont rev past 2k and bogs like a sob. I checked for codes and im getting a 12 on my check engine light.(no "NE" of "G" signal to the ecu within 2 seconds). I checked my cam position sensor and wires starter signal and coils. all appeared to be fine.
I put in brand new ngk 6097, and after maybe 30 minutes of running they are dirt black.
so my real question is would my set up be just to much for my ecu to learn right off the bat from japan with bigger injectors and such or would it have anything to do with the auto harness to 5spd ecu.
the one thing I havnt checked or swapped for a known working one is the ecu, And i wanted to atleast be somewhat positive before I do!
