i just bought my mkIII supra and got it knowing that it needs a clutch.
right now it has an F1 clutch. (you can run through all the gears with the engine running and clutch disengaged)
im thinking about an ACT clutch. but dont want that price. its quite high.
can you mix and match things to get similar results

it might just be me but iv had awesome luck with f1 clutchs. had a stage 3 in my 400+ ftlb foxbody mustang. if ur looking for cheap i would just go with f1 or oem. you get what you pay for though.

I smoked an F1 Stage 2 Clutch on my first pass after a proper 500 mile break in. Why you might ask? Because I got dooped! It was an OEM painted blue.

If you're not going to make a lot of power for a while, an OEM will do just fine.

^Would ahve to agree. Other than that you can either get an upgraded pressure plate with stock clutch disc. The disk is cheap. Or get a reman pp and a 6 puck disc. Either way is about the same with the same result.
