Ok. So theres something wrong with my DD. The clutch pedal has hardly any resistance when I push it in and it wont disengage the clutch all the way. If I pump it, it gets back the resistance and it feels like normal again and will engage fine. Anyone know whats wrong with it?

Clutch MC is leaking fluid and it's low... or the clutch slave... or a softline is leaking...

Something along those lines. Check inside the car and see if you can feel anything wet around where the clutch MC comes into the car.

I actually checked the Clutch MC and the fluid is not low at all. But I havent checked the softlines or anything yet. But I am driving about 100 miles today so I want to kno if it'll be good. Just bring a bottle of clutch fluid? And if in fact it is leaking, should I put dot 3 or 4 in it? Its a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon.

^ Whatever the cap says

You may want to try bleeding it out, if you have time fill the MC up and loosen the fitting on the slave and just let gravity do the work. Just let it sit for 10-15 mins checking to make sure the fluid does not run empty or get close, then see how it works.

*edit*
If you're on a tight schedule, get someone to push the pedal in, you loosen the bolt and the fluid will squirt everywhere, tighten it up, have them do it again until there are no signs of air or the fluid comes out clear * you willw ant to make sure that the MC is filled for this also, as you will use quite a bit. Try to avoid pumping the pedal, that'll just move any air in the line around and may take you longer to do.

Well, i checked it again after a short drive and it was lower than it was. The carpet isnt damp so its not the MC. I haven't checked the slave cylinder or soft lines because it is raining right now. So I'm taking it back to Carmax on Mon.

My guess would be the slave then. It's an easy fix if you wanted to save some money. I think 2x 12mm bolts and taking the softline off would be about it. Bleeding it would be the "hardest" part

unless you took it there and they screwed it up, that is.

No but they are not truthful. They re-painted part of the drivers side for a reason unknown. They must've done some brake work, because I put it on a lift at work to inspect it because the rear end was making some noise, the caliper bolt was MISSING. That kind of stuff doesnt happen from the factory. They probably think I don't know any more than the average person about cars. I have a bumper to bumper warranty on it. So it will be fixed for free.
