Clutch master clyinder cover

so i opened my hood today while i was filling up and found that my clutch master clyinder top cover was gone i guess stupid me forgot to close tight enough the other day cause i had to add some fluid in there.. think i was driving like that for like 2days... omg~ could air get in to my system thru the clutch master clyinder resivor ?

You'd need to have uncovered the port in the bottom of the reservoir for that to happen.

Either way... It certainly couldn't hurt to bleed the system if you've never done it before.

The clutch circuit in our cars is pretty good with no high spots that trap air so they work right up until the fluid ends up contaminated with water or develops a leak

But ditto a flush and a bleed can't hurt.

yea i am once my engine comes back from the machine shop prolly be doing it after i drop the motor in thanks guys any1 know where i can pick up a cover
