So I have needed a clutch since I got done braking in my engine a realized the guy before me had blown it out. I was thinking I would just buy a high stage clutch because my hp goals are over 500, but I got to looking on ebay and see they have clutches claiming to hold 500hp. I was thinking about it and at around 500hp I am going to have to drop the trans. again anyway so I can build it or get a stronger one in there so... to the poll.

No poll needed, get the best clutch you can afford the first time and be done with it.

I know the only thing making me think otherwise is the fact that work has been slow and it hurts me everytime I hear the clutch slipping and trust me it is BAD

There is no such thing as an e-bay clutch!!!!!!! Clutches are sold on e-bay, not made by e-bay. The shitty clutches found on e-bay are sold elsewhere also and have their own name. Great name brand clutches are on e-bay too, not just shitty ones. Like was said above, if money is tight, just replace your clutch disc with an asco or stock toyota disc, resurface your flywheel and drive.

Yup, I got my ACT HD00 kit from eBay...it's not shitty =D

Unless you're pushing 350+tq then you should be OK on a stock disk for a while. No guarantees it won't slip a bit, but should last you at least until you go big.

I know what you mean, I just hear too often about e-bay this and e-bay that. E-bay is just a market place and its too bad there is so much worthless junk on it.
