Hello gentlemen,

On Friday, my car started to lose pedal consistency off and on. It also started to make a grinding sound when I would push the clutch pedal (during engagement.) It would and still does go freely in and out of gears.

I assumed it was the master cylinder. I changed it and the sound is still present during engagement. I attached a video of it below.

I'm leaning toward the slave cylinder(Aisin,) but it is only 10months old. Next in possibilities is the TO bearing.

Would do you guys think?

Cheers,

Matt-

It was a brand new Toyota bearing installed with a Toyota clutch disc. If you notice the push rod from the slave is slightly contacting the fork when disengaged. Might this have a negative effect when the rod fully engages.

was the hub assembly assembled EXACTLY as it was removed?

if not, that could be the sound of the snap ring gradually machining the lip off the hub and it will eventually pop off and you won't be able to use your clutch...

Sounds like a bearing to me, too. Whatever it is, you need to pull the trans. to fix it. Check everything carefully, and look for wear(shiny spots) and grooves.
