Most of the haziness is typically coming from surface scratches on the outer lens. Using a plastic polish or better yet, wet sanding the lens down and polish it out will bring it back to near new condition and will give you significant output difference.
oh thats on the outside? maybe you're right..cuz the lenses on my dads beamer are all like that...looks like they were sandblasted thats how bad it is. he polished it and it looked a lot better but it came back a couple days...so you think a nice wet sand with 1000 and 2000 then a plastic polish would do good? cuz im gonna be tryin that on my tails too soon.
Yeah it can really make a difference. To keep it from coming back, you may want to get some of that stone guard material to protect it from happening again. With the tails, it probably wont come back nearly as quick as it is not exposed to debris in the same fashion.
Good advise. Now on the inside of my ds fog the chrome reflective paint has chiped away in large spots. Can that be repainted with a high temp paint?
