unless you can locate a fields harness, I suggest undoing the harness from inside the glove box, pulling it through the firewall and running all the harness wires through the rubber plug. From here, you can unwrap the tape on the backside of the harness and solder in all your connections while having plenty of room to work with. Pending the condition of your harness, this might not be a bad time to redo your knock sensors since you will have everything apart.
