Trying to help my friend fix his civic... it's boosting 7 or 8 in first and second.. and in 3rd 4rd 5th it hits 10 which he has his fuel cut set to 15% duty cycle and the turbo's good for 25 PSI. and wastegate activation 5psi..

T04E turbo A/R 63...

Hondata says to set between 15% and 85% duty cycle.. Any idea's anyone?

15% Duty Cycle for fuel cut?

If the fuel pump can handle it (you never mentioned the size of the fuel injectors)

you want to turn that up to 85% DC for fuel cut.

set the duty cycle higher. anything above 85% and the injector can become static (open almost all the time) which is a bad thing. 15% is fairly low.

does he have a boost controller? has the car been tuned also?

I dont think he is explaining it correctly, I assume the Duty cycle he is talking about is the Boost Control Solenoid. Lower it if you can, if not remove it all together and get a different boost controller that will allow you to run lower boost.
