I almost bought this for my dad, but got him something better instead.

I'm more interested in their self contained CPU cooler [Freezone]. Take a look at it on that site, if you have the time. Steep price, but great performance, and it's self contained/maintenance free.

It can be used for one, but it's not FOR an X-Box [the idea of having to keep a console gaming system cooler than it comes from the factory is absurd]; it's for a PC processor, most likely an overclocked one that needs special cooling.

i can see that. mine always seems to be running hot. i think they mentioned something on the site about building one into their sexbox for the e3 convention, but then again thats a helluva big show (not that they'd need it cooled, but theyd need it advertised).

You NEEDING to buy extreme aftermarket cooling for a X-Box360 is like NEEDING to buy a $2000 HKS Racing Type FMIC for a stock 7M-GTE.
No other gaming console has ever needed aftermarket cooling, and none should. If an X-Box 360 can survive the heat and abuse of US soldiers at bases in the middle-east, with no cooling, it can survive anywhere in the USA.

Don't waste your money on it. LoL Marketing hype!

but yes, my hks fmic is working wonders for my xbox right now, just gotta crank the boost up a tad more and i will have zero lag on ghost recon.
