Check engine light issue

Hey Guys and Gals, Im having a little problem with my supra check engine light. The problem is when i'm driving on the Freeway my Check engine light comes on. When i'm cruising on local streets Check Engine light stays off. Do you guys have any idea what's causing this problem. Also the performance of the car remains the same, the car runs great.

Check the code. It could be a couple things.

im guessing code 42 speed sensor. Mine did the same thing when the speedo cable was busted.

Pink wire on the ECU cut? Mine was and the CEL only came on at highway speeds, around town it did not.

I'm starting to thimk it's the speed sensor, because my speedo cable is broken. How difficult is it to change the speedo cable?

real easy, just take out the cluster and disconnect the cable from the speedo, disconnect the cable from the trans and pull into the interior, and replace! I got my cable at pick and pull for $5 and it took me about 5 mins to get it out of the donor car (trans was already out, just had to pull the cluster out) Im guessing it will take about 30 mins to install.
