Can you still have the charcoal canister if you don't have the EGR setup? I bought the car without the EGR in but want to rebook the charcoal canister if possible for now

So simple hooking back up to the BVSV and plugging the other BVSV line that would lead to the EGR off works?

You're thinking of the VSV (vacuum switching valve) that goes to the EGR. that needs to be blocked off. The other VSV is under the intake and goes to the FPR. The BVSV (Bi-metallic vacuum switching valve) is on the water neck and that goes from the TB to the charcoal canister. That is what you're going to be using.

I honestly don't get all the fuss about the vacuum system on these cars. It's fairly simple..
