I'll start by saying that I searched through about 150 threads without finding what I need so I'll post and see if I can get some help with this problem.
Yesterday morning I drove my car fine. Got to work, parked it as normal, and at the time the gauges were all reading normal.
Got off work, went to the car, and for some reason my car alarm went off. Never happened before. Not even sure if its related but its worth mentioning. Anyhow, I tried to start the car, and I have full power and all the normal lights are on, but when I turn the key, nothing. The clock goes off though, slowly.
I banged as est I could on the starter but no change.
Had it towed home, and Ive since tapped the starter some more with no luck.
Ive disconnected the afm and reconnected it with no luck.
Ive tried wiggling the what I think are the cps wires with no luck(not 100% sure on where they are but confident.)
Im kinda at a loss. Looking for ideas.
The car is an 89 turbo auto.
Im going to test the neutral safety switch next.
Any help would be appreciated.
