It all started last weekend when i went to go start my car and it just kept turning over and would not start. I made sure i was getting spark and it smelled like i was getting gas. Tried a couple more times and still wouldn't start.

Since it still wouldn't start i left it alone until my friend could come and take a look at it in the morning, so i let it sit for a night and then when i went out in the morning and tried to start it, it fired right up.

I haven't had that problem since then and i have been driving it everywhere. Then today i drove it to school, started fine in the morning, then after my test about 3 hours later i went to go home and it's doing the same thing, just turning over.

So any ideas or suggestions will be helpful.. Thanks

I'm not sure about that, I had a brand new fuel pump and fuel filter installed in October. I only drove it for another couple weeks before i took it off the road for the winter, since then it went back on the road in late April.

I've been having the same problem as you. Not starting sometimes. Well i've tested all kinds of stuff. It did the same thing to me today and threw no engine codes. So I got to thinking and I thought just maybe my AFM is not getting the right signal or maybe somethings wrong with it. So I pulled my intercooler pipe off and it started right up. So i'm gonna be looking into either a new AFM or seeing if it's getting the right amount of signal.

Check the following: the ISC valve, wiring connection, check for vacuum leaks via the intake line(ie oil cap, dipstick, hoses, pcv hose, egr system(egr stays open), engine spark(high tension cords, distributor(on 7mge), or cps(on7mgte), ignition coil, ignitor), and lastly spark plugs.
