Car won't start, only clicks

I have a 87 na supra and for so long now, I have been trying to get it to start. I have tried to search all around on here but I still haven't found an answer that works but yeah. The only time I can start the car is when I have it jumped or hooked up to a charger. I know it can't be a bad battery because I just bought a brand new battery and I know it's full. So I tried cleaning the terminals, the wires and everything, still nothing with the jump. Only sometimes the car wants to start, sometimes it starts, sometimes it doesn't. The car clicks twice like once when I turn it to start then another when it goes back to ACC. So I'm not sure still exactly what the problem could be, the starter is a remanufactured one which is pretty new so I'm not much of a car enthustist and so I don't much about cars or anything.

So it'll always start if jumped or connected to a charger? I'd get the battery tested and check the parasitic draw on the system when the car is in both the ACC and IGN positions.

Do you have any aftermarket stereo equipment? If so, try disconnecting any amps and caps and see the car starts reliably.

You may want to space out your posts a little more... hard to read the way you've got it.

It sounds like along with the battery you may want to burst open the ground cable. I bet it's all green and funky in there. Those cables and propper battery fittings are one of the cheap things to upgrade for preventive maintenance.

I think you should start checking the cables especially if they are stock.

Have you cats seen the new optima 6 pack battery.???
I have been seeing these things in alot of toyota products.
