Car Painting Q? my supra Electron Blue

heres the short story: Ive had my car prepped for the last 2 months for paint, it was prepped wonderful. My buddie claims to be a badass painter, so i trusted him. We went and bought a civic si Electron. blue paint for my car, and we did the necessary preppin before paint. He started to paint the car, 4 total blue coats. turned out badass. **here's the shitty and sad part. Ready for Clear coat, and painted the car, came out nasty as hell. We did the right steps im sure, 4-1 and the mix of clear coat and reducer. it turned out nasty, Cottage cheese in some parts of the car.

here's the Q: Can a shop take care of this? We wet-sanded the car back down to the paint, and can still be sprayed with clear im sure?. So can a shop re-spray a new coat of Clear on my car to save my paint?

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS!*

(if ask, we painted in a 90degree garage clean temp.)

I recently painted my supra black... I had it done at a shop though.

The clear coat looks a little nasty, but i think they use a special extra thin clear at paint shops...

I'm sure a shop can just hit you up with a clear coat... I recomend you get the weather coat also!:biglaugh:

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to just clear it over again

it was too hot for clear in 90 degrees for one thing. should be about 75.

for two, how was the humidity? humidity will turn clear white in a short period of time.

the paint referred us to use the medium clear in a 80degree room temp. so it was used. it turned out nasty. We gave it another try be resanding the whole vehicle back down to the paint. and it got even Worse. the paint it self is Badass, but the clear pretty much ruined everything. also i have no clue wat the humidity was at the time of the painting.

how much do you think it'll cost to get it re-cleared?
