I just got done driving my car around the block, has been running fine ever since i bought it about a month ago,

The car randomly just went blank when i turned it off and took the key out,
it doesnt know the door is open, or key n ignition, no horn

its as if my battery isnt there,

I need help asap, i need to get to work tomorrow

I have a 1990 7mgte manual, close to stock

Im running the car on the factory ecu, i was running the maft pro off and on for a day or so tuning it and such but i keep the factory ecu for driving.

I have had a problem once with the cars ecu, it just didnt recognize i had an ecu

But now there isnt any lights or signal for power

Faulty grounds????
the car was running and no completely dead when i go to get back in and start it.

Thanks,
Patrick

Any input is appreciated

Battery is bad or alt is bad and killed it or the terminals are loose. Check them or get it tested.

7m ecus don't go bad either.

also check the cable on the alternator, that got loose on me and i basically drained my battery till I got home. I had warning lights on my dash though so i knew something was wrong

the fuses are fine, just looked at them with a flashlight

there are aboslutely no lights, or relays or anyting going off

im going to check the battery with a multi meter

I only drove for like 5 mins and had the car idle for a minute and then parked it

no i get in and there isnt signal of any time of power going anywhere

Sounds like your battery connections and grounds need attention.

Really does sound like its this. I had the same issue and it turned out to be the battery clamps themselves were no good even though they seemed tight.

fixed it this mourning
i followed the positive wire off the batter under the fuse box.
its blue with a black cover or shrink wrap ect
and turned into 2 white wires that feed into the alternator fuse

it was dry rotted and freyed apart
i litterally just grabbed it and gave it a little tug and it came completely out

krimbed a new and thicker wire with a new lug to the batttery terminal and its been running good

Thanks
