Good luck with it. Frankly I'd rather deal with CA emissions than MOT. Much less hassle. Pass emissions and you're on your way ie; nothing else gets checked. In spite of what people think emissions is fairly simple stuff and easy to repair as long as you have the gear. You can buy older smallish 4 gas analyzers fairly cheap if you keep your eyes open, lots cheaper than the stuff many owners blow their money on. They're a great troubleshooting tool for lots of things besides emissions. For example you can confirm a blown head gasket in moments. And being able to test emissions yourself before bringing it in removes all the stress. I could live without mine but it'd be a hassle. I actually have three of the things at the moment because refurbing and reselling them is sort of a hobby.
