This is the second time this happend. Started driving down the street, came up to a stop sign so i started to brake and the car just died. I didn't even notice it till i looked at my dash. Weird, what can make that happen. The last time it happened was probably about a month ago. So this would be the second time.

hey i let my wife drive for once today when we came up to a stop sign and mine died its done that a couple of times what could cause this on the 1ggte cuz i dont yet have a bov all i have is 3" exhaust?
The ISC is the Idle Speed Control.
I just had this same problem - my ISC was filthy inside -- lots of soot. I cleaned it up and it seems to be OK now. There are 2 coolant lines and one air line from the ISC. There are 2 bolts you need to deal with and then you can get it off.
If you can locate the Throttle Position Sensor (little black box right on the throttle body connected with 2 screws- mine has small blueish lettering on it), then just look right down from there and you will see a black plastic box connected to a piece of metal. That is it. It has a plug on the black part. It is not a huge part but it has some size to it.
You can unbolt it and clean the inside and you should be good. You can further check the resistance of where that plug connects to it. Check the online Toyota Supra manual (TSRM). It will tell you the resistance range it should be in.

heh, i had the same problem, and it was the TPS. the car would start and idle fine, (this was on my N/A) but when i drove and came to a stop, it would die. then it would start and idle fine.
check the codes. try unplugging the TPS and see if that helps. (you'll idle at about 1k rpm, but if it's the TPS, then it shouldnt stall)
