cap on the intake y pipe

k so i was cleaning my intake y pipe with it off and i noticed a port that goes kind of thru the middle of the y pipe and down the left side runner, i sprayed intake cleaner thru it and it just choked back at me with literally *scuse my language* black sludgey shit, i noticed that there was a cap ontop of the y pipe so i took it off and it was completley clogged with sludge and i mean there was no way any air would go thru it there wasnt even a small hole so i scraped all of it out and cleaned it completley, put the cap back on now when i spray thru the port it goes out the other end!!! what is this port for? acis?

where it connects to the manifold it seems to go near the secondary butterfly, but can someone tell me if im correct?

i kinda dont think its part of the pcv system because its not hooked up to it its just a port that is in the y pipe that intakes air.

the port starts midway (red line) in the y pipe and goes thru where that cap is and ends up on left side where it exits into somewhere in the intake manifold near the secondary butterfly valve for the acis system.

are you sure?when it goes into the manifold how does it connect to the egr?


*took a second look and you are correct it def does connect to the egr.
