Can you vent a Bosch 110?

I was reading a bunch of things on how the way the bosch 110 works, and that the way it was designed was to be needed to be recirculated, or it stays open all the time. Is this true?
I am asking because i no longer need to recirculate my setup as i have speed density now.
Any input?

It can be vented and sounds good too. Sounds like a BOV not a damn whistle.
