as the title states i just got done welding my intake manifold up basically like sethrons manifolds are. i blocked the front vacuum port that provided vacuum to the ps idle up the bov and the stock fpr. i do not have egr anymore and i was wanting to make sure that i can take the old egr port on the manifold and use it as the vacuum source for the fpr, bypass valve, and power steering idle up. i plan on keeping the brake booster on its own supply for safety. thanks for reading if you all need pictures i can post them

if you are talking about the port on the throttle body that will NOT work.

that one is before the throttle plate, for the BOV you need a source at the plenum.

nope im talking about the large > .5inch hole on the back of the manifold

now that you mention the throttle body the large port on it that goes to the valve covers that is sourced behind the throttle correct inorder to pull a vacuum on the crankcase
