Hey guys, my first post here, I'm wondering if this damage is repairable? maybe where to go to have it repaired, and if possible an estimate of what it may cost to have it repaired. Any help is appreciated, pic below.

It doesn't look too bad to me, as to where it could be repaired, call up a few local wheel shops see what they say.

I know where most of the wisconsin supras are. I'm stalking you! lol. Nah, I remember it from the WI supra role call on supraforums. I'm NA_MKIII on there. I have an 88T with the usual mods...lex/550's, turbo, intake n such.

hah, where is new london, anyway? I keep thinking that's nearby.

They mill off the entire lip and weld on another one. They can do some pretty amazing stuff with rims at the right place.

That doesn't sound cheap, is it cheaper then buying a whole new rim?

xffe,
I had a bent rim that may have been as bad as yours, but mine was on the inside facing side.
A shop fixed it for me when they put my replacement tires on.
It seemed like no big deal at all & they did not charge me or charged me very little.
That rim held air with no problems for the next 3 years.
My rim was a stock 88 sawblade.

OK
I bought my tires at the junk yard...there I said it. lol
Well, the guy that worked there just hammered it back in place.
I guess I got a more primative way of fixing them.
But as I said, they are working fine for me.
Plus, Tony gets deals where every he goes.

Nice to see you here with us, JD!

It can be repaired (and refinished if you choose). Most places will probably charge anywhere from $80-$200 for something like that. I got ripped off on Supra Forums on the Volks that I bought but I am having them repaired at a local wheel shop for about 125$ a piece -- One of them was bent on the inside and the others were just chipped, scratched, etc...

Takes about two to three days...

Contact all of your local wheel and alignment shops and even tire shops and see if they can do that kind of work or know anyone that can. If you don't mind shipping your wheels for the repair, check out Wheel Repair Specialists http://www.wheel-repairs.com in California or Wheel Wizard http://www.wheelwizard.com in Atlanta, Georgia.
